Private personal training where you work directly with one of our trainers is our most popular service. We build you an exercise program that is customized to your goals and abilities, and adjust your program continuously as you progress. Alternatively, you may prefer partner personal training, where you and another person work directly with a trainer on customized programs.

We are committed to collaborating with you to reach your goals, whatever they may be!

Customization is key. We do not have templated or standardized workout plans — you, your body, and your personal history are unique. We are guided by the principle that your strength and conditioning plan should be unique to you. Your program is built to match wherever you’re starting from.

Whether you are working through injury rehabilitation, getting back into fitness after a period of time away, looking to improve the way you move, or focused on lifelong wellness, our personal trainers will customize a plan to get you where you want to be.

Working with a Personal Trainer at Aim Fitness

During our intake process we take the time to get to know you and hear where you’re at in your health and fitness journey. You and your trainer will discuss your goals, your training experience, your injury history, and your expectations for each other.

At your free initial consultation and assessment, we do a comprehensive movement screening to help identify how we can best coach you and support you in pursuit of your goals. Your movement screening will be adjusted to your comfort level, and your trainer will ask questions about how your body feels as we walk you through your assessment. Our consultations come at no cost, and you are under no obligation to commit to personal training sessions.

Tailoring Your Workouts to Your Goals, Progression, and Schedule

Private training sessions last for one hour and are booked directly through your trainer. We do not have a minimum requirement for how many sessions you need to book each week. Your lifestyle and schedule will help you determine the right number of sessions per week for your — and your situation may change over time, just let your trainer know!

Your progress is tracked and communicated to you along the way based on what your goals are. As you progress, your personal trainer will adjust your workouts to match your new skill level.

During each personal training session with your personal trainer you will be taken through a program that is written specifically for you. Your program will be customized to your current ability, aligned with your goals, and centered on teaching movement skills aimed at enhancing your overall quality of life.

Your personal trainer will provide demonstration, be attentive to your form, give feedback to help you improve, and provide support and encouragement along the way. We help you build confidence and foster a positive connection with exercise.

In our gym, each personal training client is paired with their dedicated personal trainer, engaging in their own customized workout. This setup ensures that everyone in the gym is concentrating on their personal fitness journey, fostering a sense of self-focus and promoting individual growth and self confidence.

Others come in, learn what they need, and go continue their programs on their own. It depends on what you want and how you like to do things! We also have people who check in with their trainer every so often and then mostly follow updated programs they get from their trainer.

Our trainers are carefully paired with clients, after taking availability into consideration (theirs and yours) and the valuable insights shared during your free initial assessment.
