Biography


For as long as she can remember, Amy has been passionate about sports and exercise. They have always been and currently are a major part of her life and have driven many of her life decisions.

In 2014, she graduated from the University of Alberta with a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology; this is the study of the human body and movements; and began her career in personal training right away. She started working at Spa Lady, a woman’s only gym, and was there for two and a half years. It was during that time that she discovered her passion for rehab and corrective exercise. Since leaving Spa Lady in 2017, she has ventured out to create a business of her own. B.Y.O.B. Fitness, Build Your Own Body.

Philosophy


I  am passionate about every single body feeling supported in their goals for fitness, exercise and health. I work to create an inclusive environment for my clients to feel safe to reach whatever their goal may be. As a result, I allow people to enjoy exercise and feel accomplished in what they have set out to achieve. With my expert knowledge I will create individualized workouts for my clients that are fun, challenging and specific to their needs.
